Ross Hammond + Shane Parish, Crave On

Sacramento guitarist Ross Hammond has played on large stages and in small corners throughout the United States and beyond. His sound is equal parts blues, spirituals, folk and world music.


He has played for Hillary Clinton, to audiences of five and all points in between.

Shane Parish (b. 1978) is a guitarist and composer residing in Asheville, North Carolina. He has been involved with many musical projects over the past quarter century. He formed the avant rock band Ahleuchatistas in 2002. He has performed and recorded with many free improvisors. He is a creative interpreter and frequently performs as an acoustic soloist. He has performed throughout the USA and Europe many times over. He is devoted to universal music, so his practice and listening habits expand in all directions. He is a mentor to many students, with the intention to help them cultivate their truest and freest creative selves.


In 1952, Harry E. Smith brought out the legendary Anthology of American Folk Music, a collection of bangers originally recorded 1927-1932. The world would never be the same.


Fast forward to 2017. Crave On start to go to work on the tunes and suddenly find the tunes going to work on them.
