TELAH + Field Guides, Nathan Phillips

∆∆∆ TELAH ∆∆∆
{featuring cellist Rashaad Jones!}

TELAH is a trio weaving time-warping drones, skittering percussion, and fuzzy textures into a pastiche with echoes of Thrill Jockey's fringes, Alice Coltrane's Ashram years, and more menacing cinematic soundscapes...

∆∆∆ Field Guides âˆ†âˆ†âˆ†

"Sprawling, dense, and mysterious." — The Big Takeover

"A slowly unfurling pastiche of treated guitars, skittering rhythms, folk instruments, and field recordings..." —

"[Field Guides] combine lyrics that shift from dreamy opacity to stark and heartfelt transparency with instrumentation that feels as if it's grown out of the soil of the songs. Or bubbled up from underneath them." — Bob Proehl, author of 'A Hundred Thousand Worlds'
